Z-COMM's new SMART PLL SSG series synthesizers use a unique, bluetooth interface to control all aspects of the synthesizer. The mobile app, available for both iOS and Android, allows the user to adjust frequency in fixed mode or sweep mode, attenuation, step size, step time, and internal or external reference oscillators through either drop down or slider controls. Multiple devices may be registered to one app as well. The SMART PLL may also be controlled, and programmed (i.e. custom step size, step time, etc), using a USB interface for users that prefer putty or similar console commands. The Z-COMM SSG series of Smart Phase Locked Loop (PLL) modules provide high performance in a compact, all metal package suitable for any number of applications. Fully programmable through a unique Bluetooth interface, or USB cable, the user may adjust functions such as frequency, sweep mode, dwell time, step size, and power output, among others. LED indicators provide a visual cue of the status of the various functions. It’s rugged enclosure lends itself to in-field use as well as bench top testing.
