REF100FCC-KO: 100 MHz OCXO Reference | CMOS Output
Precision timing. Rugged by design.
The REF100FCC-KO by Z-Communications is a compact 100 MHz oven-controlled crystal oscillator (OCXO) reference with a 3.3 Vpp CMOS output. Low phase noise and ±100 ppb frequency stability over -40°C to +85°C make it a dependable timing source for laboratory systems and demanding field applications.
Key Features & Benefits
Low phase noise: Typical performance of -158 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset and -161 dBc/Hz at 1 MHz offset.
CMOS timing output: 3.3 Vpp typical, with a maximum 15 pF load and 45–55% duty cycle at a 1.65 V threshold.
Wide temperature stability: ±100 ppb frequency variation across -40°C to +85°C.
Protected power: 5–8 Vdc supply, built-in power-good status, and thermal and overcurrent protection.
Efficient operation: Five-minute maximum warm-up; maximum power dissipation of 8 W at startup and 1.7 W in steady state at 25°C.
Rugged construction: Compact all-metal enclosure; the internal OCXO is tested to the shock and vibration standards listed in the datasheet.
Typical Phase Noise
10 Hz: -92 dBc/Hz
100 Hz: -119 dBc/Hz
1 kHz: -143 dBc/Hz
10 kHz: -158 dBc/Hz
100 kHz: -160 dBc/Hz
1 MHz: -161 dBc/Hz
10 MHz: -162 dBc/Hz
Target Applications
